The Gottesman-Knill theorem states that a Clifford circuit acting on stabilizer can be simulated efficiently classical computer. Recently, this result has been generalized to cover inputs are close coherent superposition of logarithmically many states. runtime the simulation is governed by thestabilizer extent, which roughly measures how needed approximate state. An important open problem decide whether extent multiplicative under tensor products. affirmative answer would yield an efficient algorithm for computing product inputs, while negative implies existence more algorithms simulating largescale quantum circuits. Here, we question in negative. Our follows from very general properties set states, such as having size scales subexponentially dimension, and thus readily adapted similar constructions other resource theories.
